ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff Gen Syed Asim Munir cautioned against spreading despair among the people and urged them to instill hope instead.
The army chief spoke to the media in an informal discussion following the swearing-in ceremony of caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar at the President’s House on Monday.
“We hold a strong sense of optimism regarding Pakistan’s future,” expressed the chief to the media.
He further conveyed his vision of Pakistan as a successful and developed nation.
“Pakistan possesses abundant potential. Our country has been endowed with numerous blessings,” emphasized the army chief.
The COAS chief expressed confidence in a favorable outcome, adding that Pakistan was making strides in a highly positive direction.
“Pakistan boasts a wealth of resources, and I assure you that the nation faces no imminent threats,” asserted the army chief.
