3 terrorists involved in DC Panjgur assassination been killed in recent operation

Security forces have successfully neutralized three terrorists from the Balochistan Liberation Army who were implicated in the assassination of Panjgur Deputy Commissioner Zakir Baloch.

The operation, carried out based on intelligence, resulted in the deaths of the three terrorists and injuries to three others.

On August 12, DC Baloch, accompanied by three others in two vehicles, was traveling from Quetta to Panjgur when their convoy was ambushed and attacked by terrorists. This tragic event led to the death of DC Baloch.

According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the targeted operation took place in Mastung the day before, focusing on capturing those responsible for the attack on DC Baloch.

The operation was part of a larger effort to address and combat terrorism in the region.

Following the announcement of the operation’s success, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti condemned the assassination and extended his condolences to the family of the slain DC. Zakir Baloch was notably the younger sibling of Mir Saleh Rehmat Baloch, a former provincial minister and current Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA).

This development underscores the ongoing efforts by security forces to tackle terrorism and bring justice to those affected by such acts of violence in the region.
