Police Surgeon Dr Samia said the photographs and post-mortem report appeared to present different accounts of the victim’s condition.
“The photographs tell one story, while the post-mortem report says something else,” she said.
According to Dr Samia, several areas of the body appeared swollen and discoloured in the photographs. She said those areas required closer medical examination to determine whether they showed signs of injuries.
The police surgeon also raised questions about the reported direction of the bullet. She pointed to inconsistencies that, in her view, required further clarification during the investigation.

Dr Samia also discussed the condition of the body shown in the photographs. She noted that decomposition appeared more advanced around the face and upper portion of the body.
