Millat Group of Industries is entering Pakistan’s growing electric mobility market with a new range of electric bikes and scooters.
The company plans to launch its first electric two-wheelers next month, according to Millat Group Director Murad Ansari.
Millat Prepares for Commercial EV Production
Millat has completed a dedicated electric vehicle production facility.
Commercial production is now being prepared ahead of the launch.
The company says its electric bikes and scooters will focus on quality, reliability, long-lasting batteries and competitive pricing.
The upcoming range will also include models with swappable battery technology. This could give users more flexibility when charging their vehicles.
Company Plans Local EV Supply Chain
Millat plans to gradually localize components, spare parts and after-sales services.
The company aims to use its experience in local tractor manufacturing to develop a stronger domestic EV supply chain.
Local production could also reduce dependence on imported components and help limit potential supply disruptions.
Millat is also developing a dedicated EV dealership network across Pakistan.
700+ Dealerships to Support EV Customers
The company plans to use the existing infrastructure of Millat Tractors to support its electric mobility business.
Millat Tractors has more than 700 dealerships and workshops across Pakistan.
This network could help provide customers with easier access to servicing, spare parts and after-sales support.
Millat Group has also worked with Hyundai Nishat on vehicle assembly and manufacturing in Pakistan.
The new EV project marks the group’s expansion into electric two-wheelers and its wider push toward locally supported electric mobility.
