Electric hatchback enters market with modern features
MG Motor Pakistan has officially introduced the new MG4 EV Urban in the local market, expanding its electric vehicle lineup with a hatchback designed to combine performance, technology and efficiency.
The company unveiled the vehicle during a launch ceremony in Lahore attended by dealership representatives, media members and industry stakeholders. The introduction marks another step in the growing presence of electric vehicles in Pakistan’s automotive market.
According to MG Motor Pakistan, the MG4 EV Urban features a 43-kWh battery paired with a front-wheel-drive electric motor capable of generating 110 kW of power and 250 Nm of torque.
Additionally, the company stated that the vehicle can travel up to 316 kilometers on a single charge under the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) standard.
The hatchback also supports DC fast charging technology, allowing the battery to recharge from 10 percent to 80 percent in nearly 28 minutes.
Vehicle offers safety and connectivity technologies
Meanwhile, MG Motor Pakistan has equipped the new model with several technology-focused features intended to improve comfort and convenience for drivers and passengers.
The MG4 EV Urban includes a 12.8-inch infotainment touchscreen along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. Furthermore, the vehicle features heated front seats and wireless smartphone charging capability.
The company has also included multiple safety and driver assistance systems. These features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Keep Assist and a 540-degree HD camera system.
MG Motor Pakistan has launched the MG4 EV Urban at a price of Rs. 6,949,000 nationwide.
