Mercantile has introduced Apple’s first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, in Pakistan on its global launch day. The authorised distributor announced local pricing starting at Rs. 899,999 for the 256GB model, giving Pakistani customers immediate access to the premium device.
The launch marks another major step in bringing Apple’s latest technology to Pakistan without international purchasing delays. Moreover, every unit comes with PTA approval and a one-year official Apple warranty.
iPhone Duo Prices and Key Specifications
The iPhone Duo features a foldable design that combines a 7.6-inch inner display with a 5.4-inch outer screen. Consequently, users can enjoy a larger viewing area for videos, multitasking, gaming, and everyday smartphone activities.
Apple has equipped the device with its A20 Pro chip and C2 modem. Additionally, the phone features two 48-megapixel cameras, including a main camera and an ultrawide camera with 2x optical zoom.
The device measures just 5.2 millimetres when unfolded and 11.3 millimetres when folded. Furthermore, its aluminium hinge and nanotexture finish aim to improve durability and reduce the visibility of the display crease.
Storage Options, Pricing and Warranty
Customers can choose from four storage configurations according to their needs and budgets. The 256GB variant costs Rs. 899,999, while the 512GB model carries a price of Rs. 980,000.
Meanwhile, the 1TB version costs Rs. 1,145,000, and the top-tier 2TB model reaches Rs. 1,390,000. The smartphone also offers Touch ID, an under-display camera, and claimed video playback of up to 44 hours.
