Malaysia’s Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution bin Ismail has arrived in Islamabad for a two-day official visit.
His visit comes at the invitation of Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry received the Malaysian minister at the airport.
Pakistan-Malaysia Talks to Focus on Cooperation
During his stay, Ismail is expected to hold discussions with Pakistani officials on bilateral relations.
The two sides will also explore ways to strengthen cooperation between Pakistan and Malaysia.
“During the visit, discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing mutual cooperation between Pakistan and Malaysia,” the Pakistani interior ministry said.
The visit provides an opportunity for both countries to discuss areas of mutual interest.
Moreover, the meetings are expected to support closer engagement between their respective governments.
Malaysian Minister to Meet Pakistani Leadership
The Malaysian home minister is also scheduled to meet Pakistan’s leadership during his two-day visit.
These meetings will provide an opportunity to review existing bilateral cooperation and discuss its future direction.
Ismail’s arrival marks another high-level engagement between Pakistan and Malaysia.
