Wife of Moonis Elahi, seven others get bail in money laundering case
ISLAMABAD: A local court in Lahore granted interim bail to Tahreem Elahi, wife of Moonis Elahi and seven other accused in the money laundering case.
Lahore District and Sessions Court granted interim bail to eight accused on Friday.
The duty judge granted bail after conducting the hearing as the judge was on leave.
The court ordered the Federal Investigation Agency to submit investigation report during the next hearing.

Meanwhile, Sessions Court also approved Rasikh Elahi’s request for one-day attendance waiver in this case.
Lawyer of Rasikh Elahi, son of former chief minister Parvez Elahi, pleaded in the court that his client was suffering from fever and could not appear in court.
Court granted interim bail to Tahrim Elahi, Zara Elahi, Ahmed Faran Atiqur Rehman, Shujauddin and others.
Moonis Elahi and Rasikh Elahi are sons of Parvez Elahi, former chief minister of Punjab and President of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf. Elahi quit PML-Q and joined the PTI a few months ago.
Former chief minister Parvez Elahi is also on bail in money laundering case. The FIA has been probing the money laundering case against Parvez Elahi, his family members, and close aides.
