The United States has declared its intention to impose entry bans on Jewish extremist settlers involved in attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank, particularly since Israel initiated hostilities in Gaza.
In an opinion piece published in the Washington Post, President Joe Biden conveyed his strong message to Israel’s leaders, emphasizing the imperative to halt extremist violence against Palestinians in the West Bank and to hold those responsible accountable.
He asserted the readiness of the United States to take decisive actions, including implementing visa bans on individuals engaged in attacks against civilians in the West Bank.
Highlighting the alarming statistics from the United Nations, which reported eight Palestinians, including a child, killed by settlers in the West Bank and 74 others injured, with 33% of those injuries caused by live ammunition since the commencement of Israel’s military actions in Gaza.
President Biden underscored the commitment of the United States to intensify efforts in the coming months to foster a more peaceful, integrated, and prosperous Middle East. He expressed a vision for a region where incidents like those on October 7 become unthinkable.
Mia Khalifa Takes A Stand Against Offensive Joke, Calls Out ‘Genocidal Rapists’
Meanwhile, in a shocking development, a pro-Israel Twitter account, named The Mossad: Satirical, Yet Awesome, shared a disturbing image of Mia Khalifa. In the manipulated image, Khalifa is depicted against a backdrop of Israeli Occupation Forces brandishing weapons. The account, usually satirical, temporarily shifted its focus to share what it claimed to be real-time information during a conflict.
Responding to the offensive image, Mia Khalifa, an advocate for the Palestinian cause, strongly condemned the post on Twitter. Quoting the tweet, she expressed her disgust, specifically labeling the perpetrators as “genocidal rapists.” Khalifa did not mince words in her response and also criticized the rhetoric, highlighting her stance against what she perceives as a safe haven for sexual offenders in Israel.
