The security forces had received prior intelligence regarding the terrorist activity, leading to their effective response and the terrorists eventually retreating. At least two terrorists were reported killed during the operation.
This incident followed closely after terrorists, allegedly from the BLA and the BLF, were blamed for the killing of nine Pakistani laborers in southeastern Iran near the Pakistan border.
Caretaker Balochistan Information Minister Jan Achakzai mentioned on X that the government had received reports of rockets being fired from the hilly area in Macch, Balochistan. However, no casualties or damage were reported, and law enforcement agencies (LEAs) remained vigilant.
