“Surrender terrorists” hiding in zaman park within 24 hours, Punjab govt asks PTI
LAHORE/ISLAMABAD: Punjab Information Minister said the provincial government today gave a 24-hour deadline to the PTI to hand over the “30-40 terrorists who have taken refuge” at Zaman Park. It is the residence of the former prime minister in Lahore.
Provincial Minister Aamir Mir said, “PTI should hand over the terrorists, or the law will take its course.”

Mir said while addressing a press conference in Lahore on Wednesday. He asserted that the intelligence agencies have spotted the presence of the terrorists at the Zaman Park residence of Imran Khan.
He said, “The intelligence report that has come is very alarming.”
“PTI is starting to behave like a non-state actor,” said Aamir Mir said, adding that the PTI chief has been targeting the military for more than a year.
Punjab Minister claimed that the PTI leadership had planned the attack well before the arrest of PTI chairman Imran Khan.
Jehangir Tareen blames PTI for violence
Former PTI leader and ex-ATM of Imran Khan, Jehangir Khan Tareen held PTI responsible for arsons and attacks on Jinnah House and other military places on May 9.
Meanwhile, one more PTI leader and former federal minister Amir Mahmood Kiyani left the party today. He told the media that he had taken the decision two months ago, but announced it today.

Talking to the media persons in Lahore on Wednesday, Tareen called for unity and urged those responsible to reflect upon their actions.
He said, “People have been punished in the past for their wrongdoings, but never have we witnessed such despicable incidents”.
Jehangir Tareen said that the vandalization of Jinnah House, a historic landmark symbolizing the legacy of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah – is an “unthinkable act of destruction”.
“No one could have imagined that Jinnah House would be subjected to such devastation,” Tareen regretted.
