On Sunday, the Sindh Home Department announced a temporary suspension of mobile phone services across several districts in the province as a security measure for the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA). This precautionary measure is intended to enhance public safety and ensure order during the religious observances.

The mobile service suspension will impact key areas such as Hyderabad, Thatta, Dadu, Sajawal, and Badin. Additionally, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Khairpur, Rohri, and Larkana will also experience disruptions. In Karachi, the suspension will affect the South, West, and East Districts.

This decision reflects a commitment to maintaining a secure environment during the commemorative events, aiming to prevent any potential disturbances and safeguard the community. The move underscores the importance of security in managing large public gatherings and religious observances, ensuring that the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) proceeds smoothly and safely for all participants.
