ISLAMABAD: Security forces engaged in an exchange of gunfire with terrorists in Balochistan’s port city of Gwadar, resulting in the death of two terrorists and injuries sustained by three others.
As per the Inter-Services Public Relations, terrorists launched an attack on a military convoy in Gwadar district today.
During the incident, the terrorists utilized small arms and hand grenades. However, due to the prompt and effective response of the forces, they neutralized two terrorists without causing harm to any military or civilian individuals.
The ISPR reported that security forces swiftly cordoned off the area and initiated a comprehensive search operation to apprehend any remaining assailants.
Just a few days ago, security forces had carried out an intelligence-based operation against suspected terrorists in the Kech area of the province.
While conducting the operation, security forces killed two terrorists and apprehended another who had sustained injuries.
The killed terrorists were allegedly engaged in targeting innocent citizens and law enforcement agencies.

Meanwile, according to a statement released by the ISPR, the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Charmang based on information regarding the presence of terrorists.
The military’s media wing stated, “During the operation, a fierce exchange of fire took place between security forces and terrorists.”
After gaining control of the situation, the security forces apprehended one terrorist who survived the operation.
