Saudi Arabia Promises Royal Hajj for Pakistan Cricketers if They Win T20 World Cup

Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Malki, has issued a heartfelt video message to the Pakistan Cricket Team, extending his best wishes for their upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024 campaign.

In his message, Ambassador Al-Malki expressed his hopes for the team’s success, confidently stating that they will return victorious and will be celebrated by the entire nation. He also offered prayers for the prosperity and progress of Pakistan, and made a special promise: if the Pakistani team wins the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, they will be honored as royal guests on the Hajj pilgrimage next year.

After recently losing a T20 series to England, the Pakistani team has arrived in Dallas, USA, to prepare for the World Cup. Following a day of rest, they will commence their practice sessions today.

Pakistan will start their T20 World Cup campaign on June 6 in Dallas against the host team, USA. Subsequent matches will see them face India on June 9, Canada on June 11, and Ireland on June 16.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super 8 stage in the West Indies.
