Pakistani and Singaporean Creators Utilize AI to Narrate Prophet Muhammad’s Story

A groundbreaking new web series depicting the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has been launched, utilizing artificial intelligence technology to bring the story to audiences worldwide.

Titled ‘Muhammad: The Mercy for the Multiverse,’ this series is a collaborative effort between creators from Pakistan and Singapore. Billed as the ‘most important story ever told’ by its creators, the series comprises ten episodes, with the first episode, ‘The House Remains,’ already available for free viewing.

Described as a profound saga of divine will and human spirit, the series traces the origins of monotheism and the enduring legacy of Prophet Ibrahim’s (PBUH) lineage. The remaining episodes are scheduled for release during Ramadan.

A trailer for the series, featuring scenes such as the reconstruction of the Kaaba after a flood, has been released on YouTube, offering viewers a glimpse into the visually stunning narrative.

This project is a collaboration between Qur’anscape, an online spiritual learning platform, and Qalbox at MuslimPro, a streaming service. Written by Fatimah Sattar from Lahore, who also penned the screenplay for Sarmad Khoosat’s movie Kamli, the series is directed by Emad Khalid of Prompt Media Lab, with Arsalan Abbas of Quranscape serving as the producer. Junaidah Bte Said Khan from Singapore acted as the executive producer.

The team ensured the accuracy and authenticity of the content by consulting with a mufti throughout the production process. The idea for the series originated from Fatimah Sattar’s engagement with lectures by Yasir Qadhi.

The incorporation of artificial intelligence technology enabled the team to present these timeless narratives in a fresh yet respectful manner, according to the executive producer. Director Emad Khalid emphasized the importance of authenticity in presenting stories that have been cherished for generations.

The series has received positive feedback from viewers across various countries, including the US, France, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Malaysia. This innovative approach to storytelling has garnered widespread acclaim and interest from diverse audiences globally.
