ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has emphasized the imperative to strengthen its ties with the United States in 2024, building upon the positive momentum established in the past year. This commitment was reaffirmed during a meeting between Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani and US Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome.
The discussions between Jilani and Blome encompassed key aspects of bilateral ties, with a specific focus on the recent visit of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir to the United States. The Caretaker Foreign Minister underscored the importance of both countries continuing to build on recent exchanges and the positive momentum in their ties throughout 2024.
