Unidentified robbers stole foreign currency worth millions of rupees from cricketer Mohammad Hafeez’s house in Lahore in a shocking incident that came to light on Tuesday.
The robbers broke into the veteran cricketer‘s house in the middle of the night between Sunday and Monday, according to police.
Hafeez and his wife were not in the house when the robbery took place as Hafeez is busy with the Pakistan Super League (PSL), and his wife is in Islamabad for some work.
The Defence Police Station received a complaint from the uncle of the cricketer’s wife.
As per the first information report (FIR), the robbers stole $20,000, £4,000, €3,000, and AED5,000.

Mohammad Hafeez is a renowned Pakistani cricketer, born on October 17, 1980, in Sargodha, Punjab.
He is an all-rounder, known for his right-handed batting and off-spin bowling skills. Hafeez made his debut for the Pakistan cricket team in 2003 and has since been a consistent performer.
