Maryam Nawaz reunited with family in London After 4 years Gap

Vice President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz met recently with her paternal family in London after a four-year gap.

Maryam was welcomed by a sizable gathering of admirers as she arrived to her brother Hussain Nawaz’s London home, Avenfield Apartments. Hussain Nawaz gave her a hearty embrace.

She thanked her supporters while standing on the steps leading up to the apartment building and waving back before entering.

The next stop was a meeting with Nawaz Sharif, her father.

On Tuesday, Maryam left for London via Qatar after getting her passport.

Her passport, which had been seized in a corruption case, was released by a court in Lahore. However, her passport was returned when the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) stated that they had no objections to keeping it.

To welcome Maryam Nawaz, a large crowd of supporters gathered in front of Hussain Nawaz’s home.

Some of her admirers even carried traditional drums with bhangra sounds to London to welcome her with a rousing “Lahori” ovation.

A group of two to three PTI supporters were taken away by the police.
