Members of the Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) organized a protest in Khardar to denounce the recent terrorist attack in Parachinar, which tragically claimed 42 lives. The attack targeted a convoy of over 100 vehicles traveling on the Peshawar-Parachinar-Peshawar route, with indiscriminate gunfire resulting in the loss of women, children, and infants.
During the protest, participants expressed profound sorrow and solidarity with the victims and their families. Calling the attack a national tragedy, MWM leaders announced three days of mourning and urged the authorities to take immediate and decisive action. They emphasized the urgent need for a full-scale security operation throughout Kurram Agency and the broader Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region to address the rising threat of terrorism.
The protesters demanded the arrest of the attackers and their facilitators, pressing for justice for the victims. They also called for strict security measures along all major routes leading to Parachinar to prevent further incidents of violence.
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) leaders criticized the lack of adequate protection for vulnerable communities in the area and highlighted the responsibility of the government to ensure the safety of its citizens. The protest served as a call for unity, action, and vigilance to bring lasting peace and security to the region.
