Authorities in Lahore have escalated their efforts to apprehend the fugitive suspect named Gogi Butt in connection with the murder of Ameer Balaj Tipu.
Gogi Butt’s name has been formally added to the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL), marking a significant advancement in the pursuit of justice for the victim.
Both the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and local law enforcement have issued alerts at airports nationwide to prevent Gogi Butt from fleeing the country and to facilitate his prompt arrest.
Furthermore, it has been confirmed by law enforcement agencies that another suspect, Tareef alias Teefi Butt, has already fled abroad, complicating the efforts to bring him to justice. However, Gogi Butt, his co-accused, is believed to still be in Pakistan. Police have initiated a series of raids and intensified search operations to locate and apprehend him.
Additionally, authorities have launched an operation to repatriate Teefi Butt from abroad, demonstrating their commitment to ensuring that all individuals implicated in the Amir Balaj murder case undergo due legal process.
The murder of Amir Balaj has garnered significant attention, and the inclusion of Gogi Butt’s name in the PNIL underscores the seriousness with which authorities are pursuing the investigation.
Just recently, the police reported that on the night of Ameer Balaj’s murder, the two individuals allegedly involved in the case, Teefi Butt and Gogi Butt, were located in different cities. Teefi Butt purportedly fled abroad from Karachi, while Gogi Butt remained in Lahore.
The alleged shooter, Muzaffar Hussain, who had worked as Teefi Butt’s masseuse for 22 years, has emerged as a key figure in the investigation. Valuable information related to the case has been provided to the police by Muzaffar’s third wife.
Muzaffar’s wife contacted the police to claim his body, and it’s reported that she has also provided crucial information to the authorities regarding the case. Additionally, the Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) has been enlisted to assist local police in their investigation.
