Karachi Declares Public Holiday for Iranian President’s Visit

Anticipation mounts in Karachi as preparations are underway for the upcoming visit of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on April 23, prompting the Commissioner Karachi to declare a city-wide public holiday. This decree, announced via an official notification today, signifies the closure of both public and private offices, as well as educational institutions, in honor of the esteemed guest.

President Raisi’s agenda reportedly includes a significant visit to the revered Mazar-e-Quaid, where he will pay homage to the founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Additionally, it has been disclosed that the President of Pakistan will host a dinner to commemorate President Raisi’s visit, underscoring the profound bilateral relations between Iran and Pakistan.
