ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan reportedly recorded a private video message for Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur.
According to the report, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government Spokesperson Barrister Saif met Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, where the video messages were recorded. Jail officials clarified that the message was intended exclusively for Gandapur and Bushra Bibi and not for the broader PTI membership.
During the meeting, Barrister Gohar and Barrister Saif also sought Imran Khan’s approval to negotiate with the government. As part of these talks, the government has proposed an alternative venue for the PTI sit-in, offering additional facilities at the new location.
Following the meeting, Barrister Gohar stated that Imran Khan’s call for a protest remains unchanged.
Meanwhile, on Monday night, a PTI rally entered the federal capital under the leadership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur as part of what the party described as a “do-or-die” protest.
Reports indicate that the rally, led by Gandapur, crossed into Islamabad’s jurisdiction, with convoys from the Hazara Division, Dera Ismail Khan, and Balochistan joining the motorcade at the Hakla Interchange.
