To strengthen border security and promote peace in the region, a series of tribal jirgas were convened in the border areas of Qumruddin Karez and Manza Kai.

These gatherings aimed to address critical issues related to border management and security while fostering collaboration between local communities and security forces.

The jirgas were attended by the Inspector General (IG) of Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan North, Major General Abid Mazhar, along with prominent tribal elders and community representatives.

The discussions centered on enhancing border security measures, tackling cross-border challenges, and reinforcing the collective fight against terrorism.

During the meetings, the tribal leaders expressed their gratitude for the Pakistan Army and FC Balochistan’s continuous efforts in maintaining peace and stability in the volatile border areas.

They pledged their unwavering support to counterterrorism initiatives and assured their cooperation in addressing border security concerns effectively.

In addition to the jirgas, Major General Abid Mazhar visited the FC Public School in Manza Kai, where he engaged with students and local youth.

He emphasized the pivotal role of education in shaping a peaceful and progressive society, highlighting how community engagement and learning can contribute to the region’s stability.

His visit underscored the FC’s commitment to not only securing the border but also investing in the well-being and future of the local population.

The successful conduct of these jirgas signifies the growing trust and partnership between local tribes and security forces.
