The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has meticulously finalized all arrangements for the forthcoming Hajj operation, encompassing flight logistics and operational details.
Scheduled to unfold between May 9 and June 9, the Hajj flights will span across eight airports nationwide: Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Quetta, Sukkur, Sialkot, and Rahim Yar Khan.
Pilgrims originating from Peshawar will embark from Islamabad Airport, while those hailing from Faisalabad will commence their journey from Lahore Airport en route to Saudi Arabia.
In a bid to streamline the migration process within Pakistan, the implementation of a Road-to-Makkah service is slated to be introduced at Karachi and Islamabad airports.
Chartered airlines are poised to play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless transportation of pilgrims throughout this year’s Hajj flight operation.
Commencing on April 30, the vaccination procedure for Hajj pilgrims is slated to be executed across 10 designated Hajj camps.
Under the auspices of the government Hajj scheme, a quota of 69,500 pilgrims will be afforded the opportunity to embark on the sacred pilgrimage to the holy land of Hajj.
In the preceding year, Hajj flights in Pakistan took flight on May 9, continuing steadfastly until June 9.
