FCNA Conducts Another Helicopter Evacuation Mission for Pakistan Army

Pakistan Army

The Pakistan Army recently conducted a critical medical evacuation, transporting 21-year-old Shahida, a resident of Gultri, to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Skardu using a helicopter.

Shahida had been suffering from severe symptoms of oregano, a medical condition, for the past four months and had developed a high fever over the last four days.

Upon reaching the First Care Treatment (FTC) facility in Bunyal, Shahida received initial medical care to stabilize her condition.

Medical staff at FTC Bunyal quickly assessed her situation and found that her symptoms, which had persisted and worsened over several months, had culminated in a severe infection that required advanced medical intervention beyond what could be provided locally.

Given the gravity of her condition and the immediate need for specialized treatment, the decision was made to evacuate Shahida via helicopter to ensure she could receive comprehensive care in a timely manner.

The helicopter evacuation was smoothly executed, with Shahida being accompanied by a medical attendant to monitor her condition throughout the flight.

Upon arrival at CMH Skardu, Shahida was immediately taken under the care of specialized medical personnel who began further treatment.

The swift response and the facilities available at CMH Skardu were crucial in addressing her severe infection and stabilizing her condition.

The family of Shahida expressed profound gratitude towards the Pakistan Army for their prompt action and the exceptional care provided during the evacuation.

They acknowledged the army’s crucial role in not only safeguarding the borders but also in assisting the citizens during emergencies.

This act of swift medical intervention highlights the Pakistan Army’s commitment to the welfare of the community, emphasizing their readiness to provide necessary assistance in times of critical health emergencies.

Such operations underscore the vital role of military resources in handling acute medical cases, particularly in remote areas where access to immediate and advanced healthcare is limited.
