Earlier, four individuals suspected of involvement in the killing of policemen met their demise in a dramatic confrontation with law enforcement, citing statements from the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD).

The sequence of events unfolded during a mission to recover weapons in the Karol Jungle area, where Faizan Butt was identified among the detained suspects. The team successfully seized two pistols and hand grenades during this operation.

Subsequently, a search operation was launched to capture any fleeing terrorists in the vicinity. The relentless efforts of law enforcement agencies underscore their commitment to combating terrorism and maintaining public safety.

These operations serve as a testament to the ongoing struggle against militant elements, highlighting the bravery and dedication of security personnel in safeguarding communities against threats posed by terrorism.
