QUEATTA/ISLAMABAD: Rescue teams have spotted the debris of missing helicopter of army in Sakran area in Balochistan.
Corps Commander XII Lt-General Sarfraz Ali and five other senior army officers were onboard of the chopper which went missing on Monday night. Helicopter was on way to Karachi from Quetta.
On Tuesday morning, several security officials, including police personnel, started a search for the missing chopper and finally the debris of the helicopter was spotted in Sakran area in Balochistan province.
The ISPR, however, did not issue any further details about the senior army officers onboard of the chopper.
Earlier, in a statement ISPR said that Lt-General Sarfraz was supervising the flood relief activities when the helicopter went missing.
President of Pakistan, Prime Minister, army chief and others have expressed concerns about the mishaps and waiting for its details.
