Covid positivity ratio drops below 3% for first time since July

Pakistan’s Covid-19 positivity ratio dropped below the three per cent mark for the first time since July, setting at 2.88 per cent.

The country reported 1,411 new cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours, taking the tally for confirmed cases to 1,246,538.

At least 56 fatalities were also reported during the period. A total of 27,785 patients have succumbed to the virus in the country so far.

Moreover, 1,024 recoveries were also reported in a day, taking the total recoveries to 1,170,590.
