KARACHI: According to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman and FM Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, his father, former president Asif Ali Zardari, is getting better.

Asif Ali Zardari was scheduled to undergo surgery, but doctors decided against it because the former president is improving, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated in an informal conversation with Karachi newsmen.

To pray for Asif Zardari’s quick recovery, the PPP chairman asked his employees.

A three-person medical team from the United Arab Emirates arrived in Karachi earlier, sources said ARY News, to evaluate the former Pakistani president’s health.

The team spent more than four hours at the private hospital examining the PPP co-chairman, according to sources, who also stated that some of Zardari’s tests were performed by the UAE medical team.
