Alfie Best Jr., a notable British businessman, has recently converted to Islam, marking a significant change in his personal life.
Best Jr., the son of mobile home park tycoon Alfie Best Sr., comes from a family with a combined net worth of £700 million, as reported by the Sunday Times Rich List. A few months ago, he shared a photograph from a mosque with the caption: “Allah guides, none can misguide. Whoever He misguides, none can guide.” He also posted a video expressing gratitude, stating, “All Praise to God… Alhamdulillah,” in celebration of his newfound faith.
Born on May 22, 1997, in Redbridge, London, Alfie Best Jr. gained fame through reality television shows like My Big Fat Gypsy Fortune and Rich Kids Go Shopping. His entrepreneurial journey began in childhood when he sold sweets at school. By age 17, he had become the youngest park owner in the UK after acquiring a mobile home park.
In a recent podcast with Dodge Woodall, Alfie Jr. reflected on his conversion, sharing, “I picked up a copy of the Quran, and it instantly spoke to me. It contained morals that I had already lived by… it’s a beautiful moral code for anyone and any family.” He highlighted the Qur’an’s scientific insights, noting, “Intermittent fasting has only recently been recognized for its health benefits—they wrote this in the Quran 1,400 years ago.”
Alfie Best Sr. responded positively to his son’s conversion, acknowledging that it has enhanced his character. Although Alfie Jr. felt some initial apprehension about sharing his news, his father noted the positive changes he has observed since his son’s embrace of Islam.
As he continues his spiritual journey, Alfie Jr. aims to follow in his father’s entrepreneurial footsteps while also promoting the moral values he has discovered in his new faith.
