Police and bomb disposal squads in Lakki Marwat successfully defused a 20-kilogram improvised explosive device (IED) planted along a roadside in the Wanda Ameer area. The operation prevented a major act of sabotage that could have endangered lives and property.
Authorities confirmed that the device was locally manufactured and planted along a busy route, posing a significant threat to commuters. The tip-off that led to its discovery enabled police to conduct an intelligence-based operation under the supervision of Saddar Police Station SHO Ismatullah Niazi.
