Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced the dates for Basant Lahore 2027, bringing the festival back to the provincial capital.
According to her announcement, the three-day celebration will take place from March 12 to March 14 next year.
The announcement follows what Maryam described as the successful holding of Basant Lahore 2026. Therefore, Lahore is set to welcome another round of cultural and festive activities.
Basant Lahore 2027 Dates Announced
Maryam Nawaz announced the festival dates in a post on X, inviting people to mark the three-day celebration on their calendars.
โAfter successful Basant 2026, I am proud and happy to announce Basant Lahore 2027,โ Maryam said.
She added that the festival would take place on March 12, 13 and 14, giving visitors three days to experience the celebrations.
The chief minister also invited young people from Punjab and other parts of Pakistan to join the festivities.
She encouraged participants to help make Basant Lahore 2027 a memorable celebration for everyone attending.
Lahore Prepares for Another Festive Celebration
The announcement places Lahoreโs cultural identity at the centre of the upcoming celebrations, with colour, music and festivities expected to shape the event.
Meanwhile, Maryam also invited overseas Pakistanis and international visitors to plan their trips around the festival dates.
She asked them to mark March 12 to 14 and travel to Lahore to experience the celebrations.
The provincial capital is expected to once again become a focal point for cultural and festive activities during the three-day event.
Maryam Invites Visitors to Lahore
The chief minister expressed confidence that Basant Lahore 2027 would once again highlight the cityโs culture, hospitality and festive spirit.
She also expressed hope that the celebration would create memorable experiences for those attending from across Pakistan and abroad.
โLahore will be waiting. Pakistan will be waiting for you,โ she said.
With the dates now announced, Basant Lahore 2027 is scheduled to bring three days of celebrations to the city in March.
