Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) has revised prices for Kiaโs Sportage L and Sorento models. The adjustment follows a recent increase in the sales tax rate in Pakistan.
The company said the tax change significantly increased vehicle costs. However, LMC decided to absorb most of the impact to ease pressure on customers.
Alongside the revised prices, the automaker introduced updated features and hybrid upgrades. The latest changes affect both the Sportage L facelift and Sorento hybrid lineup.
Sportage L Facelift Receives New Features
LMC has discontinued the Sportage L Alpha and the previous 1.6T FWD HEV variant. Meanwhile, limited stock remains available for the Sportage L 2.0L FWD.
The new Sportage L 1.6T FWD HEV Facelift now costs PKR 12.199 million. Furthermore, the Sportage L 1.6T AWD HEV Facelift carries a price of PKR 13.299 million.
The facelift introduces a refreshed exterior design with Star Map DRLs. It also features redesigned bumpers, new alloy wheels and gloss black skirting.
Inside, buyers will find Alcantara finishing and an all-black cabin. Additionally, the model offers heated and ventilated seats with memory functions.
Sorento Hybrid Lineup Sees Price Increase
LMC has increased prices for the Sorento hybrid variants. The Sorento 1.6T FWD HEV now costs PKR 16.299 million.
Meanwhile, the Sorento 1.6T AWD HEV is now priced at PKR 17.899 million. The company also introduced the new Sorento 1.6T AWD PHEV at PKR 18.999 million.
However, the Sorento 3.5L V6 retains its previous price of PKR 13.649 million. LMC said customers must bear future government taxes or duties at delivery.
The company also confirmed that ex-factory prices exclude freight and insurance charges. Moreover, EMI financing ended for bookings after August 15, 2026.
