ISLAMABAD: Pakistan government launched the “Khush Aamdeed” (welcome) passenger service at Islamabad International Airport. It will improve outbound air travelers’ pleasant experience at the Islamabad International Airport. Hundreds of passengers travel daily from the Islamabad International Airport who will experience welcome for the first time.
New Meet-and-Assist Service Begins
Federal Secretary for Defence Lt Gen (retd) Muhammad Ali inaugurated the service at a ceremony attended by senior government, aviation and tourism officials.
Passengers travelling from Islamabad to Madinah became the first users of the new meet-and-assist service.
The program aims to make different stages of air travel smoother and more convenient for passengers.
Under the service, travellers can receive priority check-in, security clearance assistance and personalized support at the airport.
Premium Services and Expansion Plans
Moreover, Khush Aamdeed offers premium lounge access through different service packages. Passengers can also select airport pick-up and drop-off services based on their chosen package.
The Pakistan Airports Authority has licensed the service, which currently operates at Islamabad International Airport.
However, the company plans to gradually expand Khush Aamdeed to other airports across Pakistan.
The initiative aims to create a more welcoming and professional experience for passengers arriving in or departing from the country.
Officials expect the service to improve passenger convenience while adding premium facilitation options at Pakistani airports.
The launch marks another step toward enhancing airport services and improving the overall travel experience for domestic and international passengers.
