United Motors Launches New Hybrid SUV
United Motors has officially launched the Jetour T2 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle in Pakistan. The new SUV brings a mix of electric driving, petrol power, and long-distance range for customers looking for a modern hybrid option.
The Jetour T2 PHEV is powered by a 1.5-liter TGDI engine paired with a 3-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission. The SUV comes with a front-wheel-drive system and delivers a combined output of 360 horsepower and 610 Nm of torque.
Battery, Range and Charging Details
The SUV is equipped with an 18.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. According to the company, it offers a pure electric range of up to 90 kilometers under the NEDC cycle. The combined driving range is claimed to reach up to 1,100 kilometers.
The Jetour T2 PHEV also supports DC fast charging. The battery can charge from 30 percent to 80 percent in nearly 30 minutes. This feature may appeal to drivers who want short electric trips as well as longer highway travel.
Price, Booking and Delivery Timeline
The Jetour T2 PHEV measures 4,785 mm in length, 2,006 mm in width, and 1,880 mm in height. It has a 2,800 mm wheelbase and a 70-liter fuel tank. The SUV offers six driving modes, including Normal, Sport, Economy, Snow, EV, and HEV. Safety features include six airbags as standard.
United Motors has set the ex-factory price of the Jetour T2 PHEV at Rs 12,795,000. Bookings are now open with a booking amount of Rs 2,500,000.
The company said deliveries are expected to start in September. It also clarified that delivery responsibility will apply only if the pay order is issued in the name of United Motors Pvt. Ltd.
