New Hybrid SUV Expands Jetour Lineup
Jetour has officially unveiled the T1 PHEV in Pakistan, adding a plug-in hybrid SUV to its local lineup.
The new model follows the earlier launch of the Jetour T1 with a turbo petrol engine. The latest version brings a Super Hybrid System with electric driving capability.
The unveiling gives Pakistani customers an early look at Jetourโs next-generation SUV technology. However, the company has not opened official bookings yet.
Pricing details have also not been announced.
The Jetour T1 PHEV is expected to attract buyers looking for a powerful SUV with better fuel efficiency and electric driving support.
Strong Power and Long Driving Range
The Jetour T1 PHEV is powered by a 1.5-litre TGDI engine paired with a plug-in hybrid system.
The combined output is 340 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque. These figures make it one of the more powerful hybrid SUVs expected in the local market.
The SUV uses a lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 18.4 kWh.
Jetour claims the T1 PHEV can travel up to 100 kilometres on pure electric power under NEDC testing standards.
The combined driving range is claimed to be around 1,200 kilometres.
The company also claims a fuel average of 28 kilometres per litre.
The SUV comes with a 70-litre fuel tank. Its dimensions are 4705 mm in length, 1967 mm in width and 1840 mm in height. The wheelbase stands at 2800 mm.
The vehicle is equipped with 235/60 R19 wheels.
Features, Safety and Booking Status
The Jetour T1 PHEV comes with several drive modes. These include Sport, Economy, Normal, Snow, EV and HEV.
The SUV also offers Level 2 ADAS, a 540-degree camera system and ventilated seats.
Inside the cabin, it features a 15.6-inch infotainment display and a 9-speaker Sony audio system.
The vehicle-to-load system supports up to 3.3 kW, allowing users to power external devices.
Other features include idle start-stop technology, six airbags and an 80 percent high-strength steel body structure.
For now, Jetour has only showcased the T1 PHEV in Pakistan.
The SUV is not available for purchase at the moment.
Customers will have to wait for the official launch date, booking schedule and final price announcement.
