Pakistani actors have shared glimpses of a humanitarian mission to Jordan, where they supported Palestinian families displaced from Gaza. The five-day visit took place from September 29 to October 3. The delegation worked with UK-registered charity SKT Welfare to provide food and support to vulnerable Palestinian families.
Actors Help Distribute Food to Gaza Families
The delegation included Jawed Sheikh, Khaled Anam, Saba Hamid, Shagufta Ejaz, Ally Khan, Kubra Khan, Gohar Rasheed, Ahmed Ali Akbar and Nabeel Zafar. During the mission, the actors helped prepare and distribute more than 500 boxes of essential, non-perishable food items.
The group delivered the packages to Gazan refugee families living in Jordan. Many of the families included children who had suffered injuries during the conflict or required treatment for serious illnesses.
Khaled Anam documented the mission through photographs and videos shared on Instagram. He described the experience as an opportunity to listen to Palestinian families and stand in solidarity with them.
Actors Visit Palestinian Patients
The delegation also spent time with Palestinian patients and their families receiving medical treatment in Jordan. According to Anam, some children were undergoing treatment for serious conditions, including cancer and heart problems.
The actors visited families in hospitals and temporary accommodation. They also helped deliver essential supplies directly to people receiving medical care.
These visits allowed the delegation to interact with families beyond the distribution of food packages.
Children Receive a Day of Relief
One of the most personal parts of the mission involved children receiving cancer treatment. SKT Welfare arranged an afternoon of games, activities and a hot meal for the children. The gathering gave them time to relax and enjoy activities away from the pressures of medical treatment and displacement.
Anam described the experience as a chance for the group to “listen, comfort, and stand in solidarity” with Palestinians from Gaza.
The actors later shared moments from the visit with their followers on social media.
SKT Welfare Supports Patients in Jordan
SKT Welfare also provides longer-term assistance to Palestinian patients who travel to Jordan for medical treatment.
Its support includes accommodation, meals and transportation. These services help patients reach hospitals and attend medical appointments during their stay.
Saba Hamid, Nabeel Zafar and Shagufta Ejaz also shared photographs from the humanitarian mission.
Their posts showed both the aid work and their interactions with Palestinian families and children.
The Jordan mission highlights the continued challenges faced by Palestinians receiving medical treatment away from Gaza. It also brought Pakistani actors directly into relief efforts supporting displaced families and vulnerable children.
