The Islamabad administration has decided to close 24 educational institutions from September 22.
The remaining educational institutions across the federal capital will continue normal operations.
According to sources, authorities will use the closed schools to accommodate police personnel arriving from other cities.
The move comes as Islamabad prepares for increased security requirements.
Schools in Key Areas to Remain Closed
Most of the affected educational institutions are located in G-6, F-6, F-7 and G-7.
Authorities have also included several institutions in Trinol, Sanjani, Sihala and Rawal Dam areas.
These schools will remain closed while officials use their facilities to house police personnel.
Remaining Institutions to Continue Classes
The administration has clarified that the closure will not affect all educational institutions in Islamabad.
Schools and other educational facilities outside the selected list will continue their routine activities.
Authorities have taken the decision as part of arrangements for police personnel deployed to the capital.
