Islamabad Police has extended the application deadline for its Phase II recruitment drive. Eligible candidates can now submit their applications until September 9, 2026.
The previous deadline was September 2, while the department announced the extension through an official recruitment update. The recruitment drive offers 1,624 vacancies in the Law and Order division.
Islamabad Police Announces 1,624 Vacancies
Male and female Pakistani citizens can apply under open merit and the prescribed provincial or regional quotas. The available positions include 60 Sub-Inspector posts in BS-14, 24 Assistant Sub-Inspector posts in BS-11 and 1,540 Constable posts in BS-07.
Candidates applying for Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector positions must hold a BA, BSc or equivalent degree from a recognized university. Meanwhile, Constable applicants must have passed Matric or hold an equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
Eligibility Criteria For Police Recruitment
The age limit for all three positions is 18 to 25 years. Male candidates must have a minimum height of 5 feet 7 inches, while female candidates must meet a minimum height of 5 feet 2 inches.
Male applicants must also have a chest measurement of 33 inches, with an expansion of up to 34.5 inches. Candidates should review the complete eligibility requirements before submitting their applications.
Online Application Process
Eligible candidates must apply online through the NPFTAS portal. Islamabad Police will reject applications submitted by hand, courier or any other method.
