ISLAMABAD: Iranian Interior Minister Dr Ahmed Vahidi has reached Islamabad on a day-long official visit along with his nine-member delegation. His Pakistani counterpart Sheikh Rashid received the Iranian delegation at the Noor Khan Airbase, Rawalpindi today morning.
Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said that matters of mutual interest will be discussed in meetings between Pakistan and Iran interior ministries officials.

Pakistan-Iran border management, swap of prisoners and other bilateral security-related matters will be discussed in meetings of the two countries officials of Ministries of Interior.
Secretary, Ministry of Interior Yousaf Naseem Khokhar and other senior officials were also present at the airport to receive the Iranian Interior Minister and his delegation.
During his one-day visit to Pakistan, the Iranian Interior Minister will hold meetings with Prime Minister Imran Khan, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed and other key government officials.
According to Interior ministry, issues of prisoner swap and Pak-Iran border management will come under discussion during the talks.
