USA insists on thorough accountability from India concerning the alleged plot to assassinate Gurpatwant Singh Pannu

Evidence suggests that a former Indian intelligence official orchestrated a plot to assassinate Sikh leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannu within the United States.

Last year, an Indian “RAW” agent was reportedly involved in a scheme to kill Sikh leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannu on American soil.

Repeated requests from the United States for India’s cooperation in investigating the assassination plot against the Sikh leader have been met with India’s consistent reluctance to cooperate.

Recently, a former Indian secret service “RAW” official disclosed the plan to assassinate Sikh leader Pannu in a story published by the Washington Post. Despite denials from “RAW,” the State Department of the United States insists on holding the Indian government accountable for the plot to assassinate Gurpatwant Singh Pannu on American soil, calling for further investigation and expressing intentions to engage the Department of Justice.

The US State Department has identified the Indian RAW official, known as “Vikram Yadav,” as a key figure in the plot to assassinate Gurpatwant Singh Pannu.

According to US federal prosecutors, RAW agent Vikram Yadav allegedly utilized an undercover group to target Sikh leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, who resides in the US. Last year, Indian national Nikel Gupta was accused of collaborating with an Indian government official on the plan to assassinate Pannu.

In 2023, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau revealed the involvement of Indian agents in the assassination of Khalistani leader Pradeep Singh Nagar, shedding light on evidence of a similar plan in India targeting Pannu. Allegations of Indian intelligence agency “RAW” involvement in the death of Sikh leader Avtar Singh Khanda emerged in Britain three days after the murder of Hardeep Singh Nagar in Canada.

Recent investigations by the Washington Post have unveiled Modi’s alleged involvement in terrorist activities on US territory. Indian secret operatives implicated in plotting the assassination of Sikhs have previously been detained by German authorities.

Despite repeated warnings from the US State Department and investigative reports, the Modi administration has yet to respond. The US State Department’s call for India to address these issues underscores the need to counter Modi’s extreme policies, which have garnered global attention.
