“Sources Report Recovery of Hezbollah Leader’s Body”

Israeli military strikes across the Gaza Strip have resulted in the deaths of at least 11 Palestinians. Meanwhile, the body of Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has been recovered from the site of an Israeli airstrike in Beirut’s southern suburbs, according to a medical source and a security source who spoke to Reuters on Sunday.

Hezbollah’s statement on Saturday confirming Nasrallah’s death did not specify the circumstances of his demise or the timing of his funeral. However, the sources indicated that his body showed no direct wounds, suggesting that blunt trauma from the blast was the likely cause of death.

In Gaza, health officials reported that Israeli strikes hit several locations, including a school in Beit Lahiya sheltering displaced Palestinians, resulting in four deaths and multiple injuries. The Israeli military stated that it targeted Hamas militants using a command center in a compound that formerly housed Um Al-Fahm School, accusing Hamas of using civilian facilities for military operations—a claim Hamas denies. Additionally, three individuals were killed in a strike on a house in Gaza City, with four others dying in three separate airstrikes in Nuseirat and Khan Younis.

Israeli forces continued operations in Rafah, near the Egyptian border, and in the Zeitoun suburb of Gaza City, where several houses were reportedly demolished, according to residents and Hamas media.
