Sayeeda Hussain Warsi, Baroness Warsi, is a British lawyer, politician. She remained a member of the House of Lords and served as co-chairwoman of the Conservative Party from 2010 to 2012.
In 2012, she was Senior Foreign Office minister and Warsi has stepped down from her government position in protest against its Gaza policy, condemning it as “morally indefensible.”
Lady Warsi made her resignation public via Twitter, expressing deep regret and citing her inability to continue supporting the government’s stance on #Gaza.
