In a discussion with principal secretary Azam Khan that went viral on Wednesday, Imran Khan, a former prime minister, is heard discussing an alleged US plot to overthrow his administration in a discussion with principal secretary.
Imran Khan was heard telling his then-principal secretary in the audio that they should toy with the cypher issue without using the United States’ name.
Imran Khan said, “Let’s play with it.”
They must get together to discuss the US encryption, according to Azam Khan.
PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry responded to the shocking discovery by saying that the fresh tape leak simply proved that an effort had been made to keep the US cable from the former premier secret.
He did not dispute the nature of the conversation.
