District administration officials recently launched a coordinated security sweep across parts of Sindh. Police and district administration arrested 49 illegal Afghan nationals from different areas of Hyderabad, reported by a Privateย TV channel on Wednesday. This targeted operation forms part of a broader national policy regarding foreign residency regulations.
Following the initial detentions, law enforcement swiftly initiated repatriation protocols. A spokesman for Hyderabad police said that all these Afghan nationals were later sent to their homeland after the completion of necessary legal verification and process. Consequently, the relevant departments managed the entire transition smoothly.
Managing the Repatriation Process
Dedicated transit facilities handled the paperwork and logistics for the individuals. The entire procedure was completed at the Holing Points under the supervision of the district administration. These designated centers ensure that personnel handle all identity checks and travel arrangements according to state guidelines.
Ongoing Enforcement Strategy
Local leadership intends to maintain a strict stance on undocumented residency within the region. The spokesman further said that the crackdown on all illegal foreign residents will continue without interruption. Therefore, security teams will continue monitoring various neighborhoods to enforce existing registration laws.
