The Mian Pervez Aslam group has secured a clean sweep in the annual elections of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The group won all 10 seats in the Associate Class, completing its dominant performance in the chamber’s elections.
It had already secured all 10 Corporate Class seats unopposed. As a result, the group gained control of all 20 elected seats.
Associate Class Results Announced
The three-member election commission announced the results for the 10 Associate Class seats.
The commission comprised Malik Zahoor Ahmed, Tariq Mughal and Saqib Dawood.
Imran Sadiq secured the highest number of votes with 1,600. Naushirwan Khalil Khan followed with 1,593 votes.
Rahimullah received 1,587 votes, while Tariq Butt secured 1,586 votes. Zaid Iqbal also received 1,586 votes.
Muhammad Shahid won 1,585 votes, while Shahraiz Ashraf Malik secured 1,583 votes.
Hamza Sarosh received 1,580 votes, followed by Ikram-ur-Rehman Abbasi with 1,579 votes.
Faizan Rafiq secured 1,573 votes, completing the list of successful candidates.
Group Secures Complete Election Victory
All 10 candidates backed by the Mian Pervez Aslam group were declared successful in the Associate Class.
The result followed the group’s uncontested victory in the Corporate Class. Consequently, the group secured every elected seat in the chamber.
The sweeping victory gives the group a strong position within the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It also reflects its broad support among members across both electoral classes.
With all 20 elected seats secured, the Mian Pervez Aslam group has emerged as the dominant force in the chamber’s latest annual elections.
