The COVID-19 daily death toll in Pakistan has dropped to zero

According to data from the National Institute of Health in Islamabad released on Friday morning, the COVID-19 daily mortality count has dropped to zero after seeing a significant increase in a single day. On Thursday, the daily death toll had risen to 9. (July 7). Recent statistics show that no deaths occurred in Pakistan in the previous day.

There are currently 9,346 persons with the disease, 693 new infections have been reported nationwide, bringing the total number of cases since the pandemic began to 1,541,645, and 379 people have recovered over night. The rate of optimism, however, fell to 3.28 percent.

After performing diagnostic testing on 21,137 samples, the new instances were found.

In the meantime, 165 COVID patients are receiving care in critical care units (CCUs) at various hospitals around Pakistan.
