The idea followed a viral foreign trend that gained attention across social media. Aditya later drove the decorated car through Gwalior and featured it in a social media reel. The video quickly attracted massive attention online. It reportedly crossed 55 lakh views within a single day.
However, the sudden popularity also brought the stunt to the attention of Gwalior Traffic Police. Officials reportedly traced the vehicle through the viral video.
Traffic Violations Lead to Rs5,500 Fine
Police identified traffic violations connected to the way Aditya drove the vehicle in the city. As a result, officials issued him a challan worth Rs5,500.
Authorities clarified that the fine was not related to the lipstick marks covering the car. Instead, the penalty resulted from traffic violations observed in the viral footage.
After acknowledging his mistake, Aditya reportedly faced another unusual task. Police asked him to remove all 3,400 lipstick marks from the vehicle himself.
The young man also reportedly assured authorities that he would follow traffic regulations more carefully in the future.
The incident highlights how quickly social media stunts can attract public attention. A video may appear harmless online, but real-world actions can still carry consequences.
When Social Media Fame Meets Traffic Rules
Aditya’s experience offers a simple reminder for social media users. Going viral does not exempt anyone from following traffic regulations.
