Police in Gujranwala have arrested a female friend of a bride who was fatally shot on her wedding reception day. Investigators named the woman in the murder case as they continued probing the deadly attack.
The victim, identified as Saba, was returning with her husband from a banquet hall when gunmen intercepted their vehicle. The incident occurred near Samanabad Chungi in Gujranwala, turning the newlywed couple’s celebrations into a tragedy.

The Gujranwala Crime Control Department (CCD) arrested Aroob, a female friend and former coworker of the victim. She reportedly worked alongside Saba in Wazirabad.
