ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said the government would bring back self-exiled former prime minister Nawaz Sharif to the country. He said Nawaz Sharif would never come back himself and government will bring him here.

Minister was the opposition was incapable of toppling the present setup led by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).

Speaking at a joint press conference with National Security Adviser Dr Moeed Yusuf, Fawad said: โNawaz Sharif will never return home voluntarily, rather the government will bring him back once the agreement with the UK government is finalised.โ
The recent statement of former National Assembly speaker Ayaz Sadiq that he was going to London toย bring Nawaz Sharif backย had gotten the Sharif family in Jati Umra worried, Mr Chaudhry said, adding that the government had finalised matters with the United Kingdom regarding the return of Nawaz Sharif.
ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to approach the Lahore High Court against Shehbaz Sharif, Opposition Leader in National Assembly and PML-N president, who is guarantor in a case related to former prime minister Nawaz Sharifโs return to Pakistan.
The government will a stand in the court that Shahbaz Sharif had guaranteed Nawaz Sharifโs return, but PML-N leader, now a proclaimed offender did not return.
If Nawaz Sharif did not return home on his own, the government would request the court to take action against guarantor, Shehbaz Sharif.
